Cuffley Camp is an outdoor education centre based in 90 acres of woodland on a Site of Special Scientific Interest in south-east Hertfordshire. Run by Youth Connexions Hertfordshire, the centre is geared towards developing self-awareness and confidence through challenging individual and team experiences, in a comfortable, relaxed and safe setting. Through consultation with staff, programmes are adapted to ensure that they meet the needs of the group with a variety of educational and adventurous activities and facilities on offer to a wide range of users including schools and other educational providers, families, sport groups, youth groups including NCS, disability groups, community groups and corporate clients. Residential accommodation is available from April – October and ranges from woodland cabins to pre-pitched tents with each group provided their own ‘village’ in which to stay. There is also a large main hall which can be hired for conferences, team meetings and receptions.
